Eger Pictures

Here are the promised pictures from Eger.

Andrea enjoying browsing at the local market. Notice how happy she is to be around all that food.

The ultimate fear conquerer, the minaret, with its small circular staircase. Our legs are still feeling the aftereffects.

The view from the top of the minaret. Some of the vineyards can be seen in the background.

Jake enjoying a glass of Bull's Blood wine in the Valley of the Beautiful Women.

While in the Valley, we enjoyed an appetizer. Don't worry; we ate off of the "Special Diet" menu. Apparently, a special diet in Hungary means all fried foods; sign us up!

Hello from Florida. Breakfasts in Norway were a feast similar to yours with fish and the best breads. I love the thought of a market with textiles and amber. Wow! Jake, you should consider a gift for Andrea.
No other religions'churches can compare to the Catholic churches. These are spectacular.

We took a short boat trip today to the waters around Shell Island, briefly swimming with two dolphins. (I think they were lured in by the bait boat nearby.) We snorkeled and gathered a bag full of sand dollars. It was fun.

Home to Missouri tomorrow.

Keep the adventures coming.
Love, Mom
